What is Fastmail^TM?
Fastmail^TM is a product designed to provide complete high performance web email without the sluggish response times associated with most competing systems. It is highly optimised for providing fast and scalable web email. The system is able to handle multiple languages, multiple domain names and multiple interfaces, all without sacrificing its lightning fast response times. The system can process hundreds of requests per second and a large number of accounts on a single server, as shown by the public fastmail.ca system. In keeping with the scalable design it can also be expanded to span multiple servers without impacting performance.

What is fastmail.ca?

• fastmail.ca is a web based email system for Canadians.
• fastmail.ca is ideal for people who travel because it will allow you to use your email from anywhere in the world that has Internet access to the world wide web.
• Your fastmail.ca account has no expiry date on it. As long as you use your account regularily (subject to the TOS) it will be yours.

How much does an account at fastmail.ca cost?
In the past we did not charge any fees for fastmail accounts. These free accounts will remain free and will maintain a base account service level. New subscribers will be automatically signed up for "Fastmail Premium Accounts". Pricing details can be found here.

What is a Fastmail Premium Account?
Our premium accounts are intended for more involved webmail users who send and receive a lot of email and require more storage than our base accounts provide. These are available for a nominal yearly fee and have more than double the space of our base accounts. More information can be found here.

Fastmail.ca is operated by Fastmail Web Services Inc. We are a 100% Canadian owned and operated business. We are dedicated to providing fast, secure and easy to use web based email access to Canadian users.

We are constantly working to improve our system. 100% of the Fastmail web interface is Canadian talent. It was designed and developed in-house. This means that new features can be quickly added and the system can be modified to suit our user's needs.
